We Believe Humanity Fell but God Made a Way

At Mountain Valley Chapel in Gold Bar, Washington, we believe that when God created humanity, He called it good. We were made in His image, designed for relationship with Him, and given purpose and authority on the earth. But through the sin of Adam and Eve, humanity fell. Sin entered the world, separating us from God and bringing pain, death, and brokenness into creation. What began as a perfect relationship was fractured by disobedience.

Yet even in our fall, God’s plan of redemption was already in motion. He did not abandon us to our sin. From the beginning, He promised a Savior who would crush the power of evil and restore what was lost. That Savior is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Through His life, death, and resurrection, God made a way for every person to be forgiven, restored, and made new.

We believe that sin is real and its effects are visible all around us, but so is grace. The good news of the gospel is that no one is beyond God’s reach. His mercy runs deeper than our failure, and His love draws us back into fellowship with Him.

At Mountain Valley Chapel, we preach the hope that no matter how far a person has fallen, God has made a way through Jesus. The cross stands as proof that redemption is possible and that every life can be changed by the power of His grace.
