WHO WE ARE

Mountain Valley Chapel is a family-focused, Spirit-filled church located in the heart of Gold Bar, Washington. Our mission is to love God, love people, and make disciples. Every week we gather to worship, learn from God’s Word, and build genuine relationships that strengthen families and impact our community.

We are part of the Open Bible Churches family: a global fellowship of believers committed to making disciples, developing leaders, and planting churches. That partnership gives us accountability, support, and shared vision while allowing Mountain Valley Chapel to minister uniquely within the Sky Valley area.

MEET PASTOR CHRIS BUSCHER

Pastor Chris Buscher serves as the Lead Pastor of Mountain Valley Chapel. With nearly two decades of ministry experience as a pastor, missionary, and evangelist, he is passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, grow in biblical truth, and live empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Before coming to Gold Bar, Pastor Chris served in missions across Brazil, Kenya, and Pakistan and led ministries in the United States. His preaching is known for authenticity, clarity, and a deep reliance on God’s presence. Together with his wife Jessica and their three children, Noah, Anna, and Judah, the Buscher family loves serving the Gold Bar community and leading a church that is alive in the Spirit, rooted in the Word, and reaching the world.
